Alongside my wildlife sculpture work I offer a limited number of animal portrait commissions each month - created either as refined graphite studies or hand burned directly onto wood.

​

These are original artworks. No prints. No reproductions.

Each piece is individually created from your photograph.

Graphite & Pen and Ink Examples

A Focused heads & upper body study capturing expression and form in clean, controlled graphite or pen and ink.

​

  • A4 Head or upper body study - £195​

  • A3 Head or upper body study - £275

Simple. Refined. Character-led.

Pyrography Portraits on Wood

Each portrait is hand-burned directly onto carefully selected and prepared solid timber.

​

Currently available on:

​

Oak - £495

Richer tone with strong natural grain and traditional dept.

​

Western Red Cedar - £450

Lighter, warmer tone with beautiful natural contrast.

​

Standard format: Head and upper chest study.

​

Due to production time only pyrography portrait slots are available per month.

​

Full body compositions may be considered and are priced individually from £650+

Sculptural Animal Portraits

For Those seeking a more permanent three-dimensional interpretation, bespoke animal portrait sculptures in hardwood are also available.

 


These Larger works are developed individually and priced according to scale, timber selection and complexity.

How To Commission a Portrait

  1. Phone or email with a clear photograph of your animal.

  2. I will confirm composition and format.

  3. A 50% deposit secures your commission slot.

  4. Photos of the completed portrait are sent. Final balance is due prior to collection or dispatch.

 

Portraits are created in a limited number each month to ensure quality and focus alongside larger sculpture projects.
